is yellowstone area considered a super volcano?
Due to the numerous super eruptions over the past hundreds & thousands of years, the layers formed are called calderas which covers the wide area in and around Yellowstone. So, the ferocity of the past eruptions has given the name Super Volcano
Interesting! I will have to research if it is considered alive out not.
very interesting. Is the yellowstone area, dormant or extinct or active? I will have to look into it more!~
