225,000 Birds, 8,000 Sheep, 150 Goats Dead From Flooding In Central Java, Indonesia
The flooding that occurred during the rainy season this past year has killed at least 231 780 head of cattle. Minister of Agriculture said the handling by the floods will be prioritized on aid to dead animals, livestock handling facilities in the area of ​​refuge and restoration of farming activities in the flood-affected site.

“Component procurement activities such as livestock aid consisting of cow, buffalo, goat or sheep, pigs, poultry and rabbits,” he added.

Animal feed, he added, was also pursued by the procurement or planting forage and concentrate feed assistance and help manufacture of cattle sheds and equipment.
