
Russian youth’s arctic expedition, which has reached the North Pole skying, is trapped in a snow storm, Interfax reported.
The press office of the children’s ombudsman in Russia announced that the contact with the group had been lost, adding that the weather had seriously worsened and the evacuation was impossible.
The expedition is comprised of children’s rights ombudsman Pavel Astakhov, seven 16-year-old children, and two polar experts.
According to information from the press office, all are in good health.
