Plane crashes into a house killing one and seriously injuring a child in Australia

A man has died and a child has been injured in a light plane crash at Tyabb, south-east of Melbourne.
A man has been killed and a child is seriously injured after a plane crashed into a house near a regional Victorian airport.
 
Police were called to Seaview Road, Tyabb, south-east of Melbourne, on Sunday evening to find that an ultralight aircraft which had taken off from nearby Tyabb airport had crashed into a house.
 
The man died and the passenger, a young girl, suffered serious injuries, police said.
 
She was airlifted to the Royal Children’s Hospital.
 
There was no one in the house at the time of the crash.
 
Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
