China’s quarantine authority has ordered stepped-up inspections at customs to prevent the deadly Ebola virus from entering the country.

The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine announced that travellers who have been to the regions affected by Ebola disease in the past three weeks will have to fill out medical forms when they pass customs.

The new measures come as the deadly virus has killed over 700 people in four western African countries.
