Three died and one person of the same family has gone missing as landslide broke down a house at Mahankal VDC-6 in the district at the wee hours on Wednesday.
The dead have been identified as 32-year-old Dil Bahadur Tamang, his 13-year-old daughter Elisa Tamang and seven-year-old son Prashanta Tamang and Dil Bahadur’s father Man Bahadur Tamang, 70, said DSP Bharat Bahadur Bohara of Sindhupalchowk District Police Office.
Moti Tamang, Dil Bahadur’s wife, who was seriously injured in the incident, has been rushed to Primary Health Center Melanchi for treatment.
The landslide which occurred at 1 am today lies on the border area between Sindhupalchowk and Nuwakot district.
