
The Copahue Volcano started to show activity on Saturday, therefore Chile’s National Service of Mining and Geology rose the alert to orange. Rodrigo Alvarez, National Director of Chile’s National Service of Mining and Geology, informed that in the last hours there have been detected traces of ashes and sulfur emanations in a zone near the volcano, in Biobio region, according to local press.
