This is a Code Red notification Message from Monroe Emergency Management and the Monroe Police Department.
Severe weather conditions including freezing rain and snow are predicted for this area beginning early Saturday morning and continuing through Saturday evening. A parking ban will be in effect from midnight on Friday to midnight on Saturday throughout the town of Monroe.
Vehicles parked in the street hinder the snow removal efforts.
Any vehicles in violation of this parking ban will be ticketed and towed.
