Yellow Alert Issued As Heatwave Continues In Parts Of Argentina

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) has issued a “yellow alert” as a heatwave continues to affect Buenos Aires and Rosario, where the temperatures are expected to rise above 35 Celsius degrees today.
 
Buenos Aires City was warm and cloudy, with chances of rainfall and storms. The SMN reported winds from the Northwest. The minimum temperature was was of 24 Celsius degrees this morning but is rising fast.
 
The Health Ministry said that the heatwave can be dangerous for “babies, toddlers and people older than 65, or those suffering from chronic diseases” and called to prevent “heat strokes.”
 
Storms will continue tomorrow but the temperatures are expected to drop to 23 Celsius degrees.
