Lekhnath and surrounding areas on Saturday afternoon has destroyed crops worth millions, initial report suggests.
RSS reported that crops in more than 60 percent of farms of corn, fruits and vegetables were destroyed by the hailstorm which occurred for about half an hour.
The hailstorm added to the woes of people who were staying under open sky after their houses were ravaged by the 7.9-magnitude Great Quake on April 25.
