People across Europe continue to suffer from an extended heat wave with temperatures hitting the 90s.
In Bulgaria, the government issued alerts urging the elderly and young children to stay indoors and drink plenty of fluids.
People flocked to the beach and in cities to fountains to beat the heat.
Cities gave out water bottles as a way to advise people of the heat danger.
The heat extends to the north in Romania where heat alerts have also been issued.
In Bucharest, emergency responders received 345 heat-related calls by midday.
