According to Wills Point Emergency Management a transformer fire caused a power outage and cut off non-emergency lines.
The agency said the fire caused significant power outages in and around Wills Point and that local police and fire non-emergency numbers were temporarily offline.
Shortly after 9 p.m. the agency said power and non-emergency lines were restored.
