Plane crashes at Edinburg airfield, no one hurt in New York, USA

Plane Crash Alert

A small plane carrying two people crashed and overturned Saturday at Edinburg Airport, but neither person on board was hurt.
 
The incident happened around 3:15 p.m., when a 1951 Piper PP22 piloted by 45-year-old Patrick Morris overshot a runway and flipped over, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
 
Neither Morris nor a passenger were hurt. The plane was secured for examination by the FAA. Edinburg Rescue Squad and Edinburg Fire Department assisted the Sheriff’s Office at the scene.
 
The small, privately owned airport is on Wheeler Road.
