An explosion occurred Tuesday at Kings Valley Agronomy, according Nels Gunderson, with the Osseo Rural Fire Department.
EMS Captain of the Osseo Rural Fire Department Kirk Gunderson said two installers were injured, and were airlifted to area hospitals. He said both men were alert and talking.
Authorities believe the two men were running a gas line underground to a corn gas dryer when the explosion occurred. When crews arrived there was no fire or smoke.
“We haven’t determined if they were repairing or if it was a new install,” Kirk told News 18. “It did have to do with a gas line coming to that main feed.”
Currently, the affected area of the company is closed. Kirk told News 18 the rest of the company is running smoothly, and the entire business should be up and running 100 percent by Wednesday.
Authorities are working on a damage estimate. A spokesperson for Kings Valley would not comment on the incident.
The names of the men injured have not been released.
