Firefighters in Auckland have worked overnight to contain a spill in an industrial area of Parnell.
The Fire Service says pesticides and adhesive had leaked from a container in a yard.
They were called to Stanley Street in Parnell at 9:45pm.
The fire service said a decontamination unit had been set up to deal with the 1,000 litre leak of what it describes as toxic, flammable chemicals, from a container.
About 30 firefighters in decontaminant suits spent several hours containing it, using an absorbant.
