Plane makes an emergency landing due to landing gear failure at Regina Intl Airport, Canada

Plane Emergency Landing

A twin-engine aircraft’s landing gear failed as it was attempting to land at Regina International Airport on Saturday.

There were no injuries to the plane’s two occupants but the accident, which happened at 12:15 p.m., temporarily closed the main runway.

The secondary runway, however, was still available for flights, the Regina Airport Authority said in a release.

Passengers and guests are asked to consult departure and arrival flight information for any potential delays.
