A massive sinkhole in Kailua has shut down Keolu Drive in both directions, officials said Friday.
The ground in front of the Keolu Elementary school caved in due to a water main break.
It happened around 1 p.m.
Board of Water Supply crews will be working through the night on the 12-inch main break.
Once the repairs are made, the road will have to be repaved.
