A landslide that hit a cemetery in Singaraja, North Bali has displaced four graves.

The graves collapsed into the street as heavy rains flushed out the city of Singaraja and surrounding areas for more than eight hours starting late Thursday night, according to Tribun Bali.

The landslide totally blocked the road linking Lingligundi and Sari Mekar villages.

As of Tribun Bali’s report on Friday afternoon, the bodies from the graves were still be evacuated from the road by the families and the cemetery caretaker.

Head of Buleleng Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) says a barrier needs to be soon set up to protect the road from further collapses.
