A new phase of activity has begun at the volcano. Starting from 20:00 local time yesterday evening, tremor increased, followed by ash emissions since 01:30 this morning.
The activity has been near-continuous and producing a moderately large plume of ash drifting into westerly directions. Light ash fall is expected in downwind areas of the Valle Central.
