15 TONS of dead fish found washed up in Cienaga Grande de Santa Marta, Colombia

Meanwhile the director of Corpamag, Carlos Francisco Diazgranados, reported that “fish mortality occurs due to lack of oxygen in the water, poor circulation freshwater flows that are required, decreasing water depth , heating, and stress of mangrove trees that lose leaves, reach the bottom of the swamp decompose and generate these types of situations that affect the environmental conditions of the Ciénaga Grande de Santa Marta “.
