At least seven people have been killed and two are missing after fresh flooding in central Vietnam.
The dead and missing were all reported in Quang Binh province where rainfall of up to 966 millimetres was reported, the National Committee for Search and Rescue said.
Nearly 7,000 houses were flooded while many locations were isolated, the Committee said, adding that torrential downpours were causing water levels in the region to rise rapidly.
The region is still recovering from catastrophic floods in October that left at least 29 people dead and 120,000 houses submerged.
