12 dolphins found dead along the coast of Alentejo, Portugal

In just 15 days, 12 common dolphins gave the coast between Melides (Grândola) and Comporta (Alcácer do Sal). At least two were beheaded. Only on January 17, officials of the municipality of Grândola collected eight copies of that protected species. On the 31st, the same municipality surveyed four corpses, two of them beheaded. At CM , the Institute of Nature Conservation and Forests (ICNF) is unaware of cases having only a similar occurrence record. When taking contact with photos of the beheaded animals, Marina Sequeira, of the ICNF, guarantees to be treated of intentionally decapitated animals.
