A man has been shot dead by police after killing a bystander with a knife in Paris, a police source has confirmed.
Seven others are believed to have been injured, one seriously, in the attack in the French capital’s second arrondissement.
Police opened fire on the attacker who was on the ground suffering from cardiac arrest at the time, according to BFMTV.
