The body of a man who fell overboard a tanker in rough seas has been found near Margate Harbour.
A body was found in the water at about 1pm after a seven-hour search in what the coastguard said were “very rough seas”.
Lifeboats were looking up to eight miles out to sea, while coastguard crews searched the shoreline.
The news comes after a teenage boy tragically died in rough seas off the coast of Herne Bay, Kent.
