Thousands of dead fish were seen in Göksu Stream in Gölbaşı district of Adıyaman. While investigating the cause of the death of the fish, it was learned that sand was extracted from Göksu Stream where the fish lived a while ago and the direction of the tea was changed.

Hundreds of fish deaths took place in Göksu Stream, Altınlı Bridge, Çataltepe village of Gölbaşı district of Adıyaman. It was learned that the flow direction of Göksu Stream, where collective fish death occurred, was changed in Çetintepe Dam construction area some time ago. It was stated that sand was extracted from Göksu Stream where the fish live.

Since it is the season of spawning, eggs and new offspring left by hundreds of fish struggle to survive in the pond . The villagers who noticed the mass fish deaths reported the situation to the Gölbaşı District Governorate. The District Governorate informed the Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanism and the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry to investigate the cause of fish deaths.
