Many dead birds are observed on the coast of Aniva Bay. According to the co-author of IA Sakh.com, the dead birds were seen in particular in the Uryum area. The reasons for the phenomenon are unknown, they have to be clarified by ecologists.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Sakhalin Region, together with the Green Sakhalin Fund for the Protection of Nature and the Environment, is already collecting carcasses of dead birds for sending to a laboratory for research. Now the question of the possibility of studying the biomaterial on Sakhalin is being resolved, or the need to send samples for analysis on the mainland.
In any case, conclusions can be drawn only after receiving the results of the study.
