The Easter Island Region refers to Rapa Nui, a remote Chilean territory in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, famous for its mysterious moai statues and Polynesian culture, part of Chile’s Valparaíso Region, known as “The Navel of the World” by its people, and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
