Three houses were damaged in?a landslide near the Line of Control in Kashmir’s Kupwara district, police said today.
A landslide struck Kundian village in Keran sector yesterday, damaging three residential houses. However, no causality was reported in the incident, a police spokesman said.
Landslides and snow avalanches are a common occurrence in the higher reaches of Kashmir towards the end of winter.
The recent heavy snowfall in the valley has increased the chances of landslides in these areas.
