Thousands of tuna fish types suspected dead were stranded along the Pauh Beach, Kota Pariaman.
Observation of covesia at the location was seen by the types of fish that were stranded along Pauhaman Beach, Pariaman City, with the conditions had rotted, and some of them had been buried by residents who were on the beach.
Related to this, Risman (37), one of the fishermen found at the location said that the fish was allegedly thrown away by other fishermen.
“In my opinion the fish was deliberately thrown away, maybe because when the fishermen unloaded the ice-shortage chart,” said Risman on Tuesday (3/24/2020).
Risman continued, it was because at this time the market was quiet due to the Covid-19 issue, so fish were not selling in the market, then the availability of ice blocks was also difficult to obtain.
“I also don’t know why ice cubes are scarce than usual, which is clear since the corona issue is the availability of ice cubes is also reduced,” he said.
Risman said, he usually takes the ice cubes in the Pariaman area.
“There are two places in Pariaman, usually only ice blocks are safe, now they are scarce,” he said.
